Perspective is developed throughout one's life through a variety of experiences and the decisions made in response to them. This journey ultimately led me to the field of counseling. Many years ago, as a young pastor facing significant depression and anxiety, I found myself at a loss regarding where to seek help for my emotional struggles beyond the realm of prayer.
It was through the answers to my prayers that I encountered practical and effective support that resonated with my Christian values. This pivotal experience motivated me to study counseling psychology in seminary, paving the way for a rewarding career in counseling. I now combine my academic insights with my personal encounters with life's difficulties, a perspective that has proven to be immensely beneficial in aiding others.
Moreover, my life experiences—including over 42 years of marriage, raising two daughters, more than thirty-four years in ministry (now retired from pastoring), and my endeavors as a business owner and author—have deepened my understanding and approach. These experiences allow me to perceive individuals in a holistic manner, acknowledging them as more than merely their challenges. Presently, my primary focus is on supporting men of all ages as they navigate the complexities of life, family, marriage, and career, while promoting emotional well-being in today's society.
